A traffic stop, combined with previous investigative efforts, directly led to the identity and arrest of 26 year old Natasha Willis, from Bensalem

On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at approximately 9:28 a.m., a suspicious backpack was found by Bensalem School District employees in the rear parking lot of Cecilia Snyder Middle School. District personnel notified Bensalem Police who discovered the backpack contained four “bricks” of heroin (pictured below).
The heroin had already been packaged for sale. The bag contained approximately 10,000 dosage units of heroin. The street value is estimated at $100,000.00. This was a fortunate find for police and school district officials as it prevented this heroin from being available on the streets.
Since that date, Bensalem Narcotics officers have been conducting an investigation to identify the source of the heroin. Through subsequent investigation and a review of video surveillance at Cecilia Snyder Middle School it was learned that a tan Toyota Corolla with New Jersey registration was in the area where the schoolbag was recovered.
Further investigation led investigators to conduct a traffic stop on the target vehicle in Bensalem Township on January 10, 2018 at 8:50 p.m. This traffic stop, combined with previous investigative efforts, directly led to the identity and arrest of 26 year old Natasha Willis, from Bensalem. Willis admitted to possessing and accidentally placing the bag outside of her vehicle behind the school on December 20, 2017.
Natasha Willis (pictured above) was charged with possession with intent to deliver narcotics and related offenses. She was arraigned by District Justice Falcone and bail was set at $750,000.00 (10%). Willis was turned over to PA Constables and transported to the Bucks County Correction Facility. It should be noted that this heroin was not intended for the school and at no time were students placed in danger due to the quick action of school district personnel and police.
