The Times
Sesame Place is excited to announce the return of its festive, family-friendly holiday celebration, A Very Furry Christmas. Beginning Nov. 18 through Dec. 31 (on select dates), the park is transformed into a one-of-a-kind Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights and festive decorations all around.
Guests can sing along at three special Christmas shows and a spectacular music and light show at the giant 1–2–3 Christmas Tree. Take a train ride tour through the Twiddlebugs’ Gingerbread Cookie Factory on the Sesame Place Furry Express, and for guests who want to dance, check out the Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade with festive music that will have everyone dancing along and joining in the fun. Don’t miss the chance to meet Lightning, the adorable reindeer from the movie Elmo Saves Christmas.
New this year, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will spend the holiday season at Sesame Place. The lovable reindeer, along with his friends Clarice and Bumble, will be available for photos with guests in Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland. The fun doesn’t stop there — play themed games like Bumble’s Snowball Toss, Strike It Rich and Reindeer Ducks.
Gather around and watch “Light Up the Night,” an all-new Christmas light show. Guests will be sure to get into the Christmas spirit as they dance along to the holiday music and watch the dazzling displays in this festive show.
On November 18 during a special Christmas celebration, Santa will illuminate the night for the first time this year to help kick-off A Very Furry Christmas. After some holly jolly singing and dancing with Santa’s trusty elves and everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends, Santa will arrive on a horse-drawn carriage to light up the night with millions of twinkling lights. Guests will be able to visit with him in his Furry Workshop until December 23.
A Very Furry Christmas is included in Season Pass admission at no extra cost. Guests can find the best prices on admission tickets by visiting sesameplace.com.
