“Hallowine” costume party is Friday

Crossing Vineyards and Winery will host a “Hallowine” costume party on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. The event will be a spooktacular evening in the grapeyard with boo-tiful music, a monstrous buffet and, of course, a glass of haunted house wine. Enter the contest for scariest costume. Wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Reservations are required.

Fall Fest happening at Shady Brook Farm

It’s the best time of year at Shady Brook Farm as it celebrates the annual Fall Fest. The event, open daily through Oct. 31, includes Apple Fun Days, PumpkinFest, PumpkinFest After Dark and HorrorFest. Enjoy wagon rides, apple picking, pumpkin picking, a Johnny Appleseed-themed corn maze and lots more festival fun. Bring the family for a day and/or night of fun down on the farm.

General admission is $10 per person on weekdays, $16 per person on weekends (and Friday after 4 p.m.). A general pass includes wagon rides to the pumpkin patch or apple orchard (apples are available while supplies last), BEARS playground, giant jumping pillows, the all new sports challenge, 5-acre Johnny Appleseed corn maze, inflatable amusements, Barn of Horror, Jr., Alien Invasion, Jr., SBF 500 Tryke Track, BarnYard Animals, spider web climb, pig races and live entertainment.

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

Celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place through Oct. 29. Come in costume and enjoy three special Halloween-themed shows, experience four Count Von Count-themed mechanical rides and see everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume.

Everyone will love the Neighborhood Street Party Halloween Parade that features 10 fantastic floats all decked out for the season, with music and dancing that will have everyone joining in the fun. The parade features exciting performances about Halloween fun including trick-or-treating, dressing up in costume and doing the “Jack-O-Lantern Jump.” Stay until 8 p.m. Saturday during Spooktacular to see the special night time version of the parade — the sky will light up with Halloween-colored lighting.
