The Bensalem Education Foundation Distinguished Alumni Award Committee invites you to join them as they honor a group of outstanding Bensalem High School graduates.
Sitting in a Bensalem classroom this year could be one of this country’s most influential people of their generation. Did you know Bensalem High School has amongst its graduates:
- Palak Patel (Class of 1999), a Hollywood producer and executive vice president of Sony Pictures
- Daniel Reimold (1999), the creator of an internationally recognized journal on college media
- David Issadore, Ph.D (2000), a biomedical chip developer used for the early detection of pancreatic cancer
- Barbara Simmons (1970), an award-winning peace and nonviolence advocate
- Joy Deangdeelert Cho (1997), one of Time Magazine’s 30 most influential people on the Internet in 2015 and 2016
- William Stinger (1967), a world-renowned architect who designs buildings for the U.S. State Department
- Aaron Jay Kernis (1977), a Pulitzer Prize-winning composer
- Michael Risich (1992), a cutting-edge automotive technology software developer
- Robert “Tommy” Tomlinson (1964), a state senator
- Derek Green (1988), a Philadelphia city councilman
- Carol J. McIlwain (1978), an award-winning Naval Intelligence and Department of Defense engineer
- Howard Palamarchuk, DPM (1971), a podiatrist who has worked extensively with Team USA and the Boston Marathon
- Nicole Henry (1991), an internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist
- Richard Fiorentino (1967), a Harvard MBA and cofounder of a multi-patented computer software company
These 14 individuals will be receiving the Bensalem Distinguished Alumni Award at the inaugural induction ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 21 following a dinner in their honor that begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online through PayPal at www.bensalemsd.org/Page/13501.
