The Feasterville Business Association provided scholarships to three local seniors

Three Neshaminy High School seniors were awarded college scholarships from the Feasterville Business Association. Valerie Kelmansky of Langhorne and Maria Calderon and Neel Patel of Feasterville were the recipients of the $1,200 college scholarship awards from the FBA.
Kelmansky plans to attend Temple University to major in business management. She had a 4.11 cumulative grade point average and ranked near the top of her class of 583 students. She has been an active leader of Future Business Leaders of America, was honored as the Business Student of the Month and is a member of the Service Learning Club.
Calderon plans to attend Indiana University Bloomington with a major in finance. She had a 3.92 cumulative grade point average and also ranked near the top of her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the debate team, and has volunteered at Ronald McDonald House and Shriners Hospital.
Patel plans to attend Penn State University majoring in finance and economics. With a 4.49 cumulative grade point average, he ranked at the top of his class. He was elected vice president and president of his class, worked in the school store and was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America.
The scholarship winners will walk with the FBA’s Belgium horse drawn wagon in the Lower Southampton Township Independence Day Parade on Tuesday, July 4. They will also be recognized at the Lower Southampton July 4th parade committee breakfast to be held at the Suburban Diner in Feasterville prior to the parade.
