A fundraiser will be held on Thursday night at the Center City Philadelphia law firm Duane Morris in support of Alex Lipton, a Democratic candidate in the 31st Legislative District.
The incumbent, Rep. Steve Santarsiero, is running for the Democratic nomination in the 8th Congressional District.
Supporters will pay up to $1,000. U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle is the special guest. The hosts include Duane Morris partner David Landau, head of the Delaware County Democratic Party,
Lipton, of Yardley, is a graduate of Penn State, where he studied social and political philosophy. He is on schedule to earn a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government in May. He attends Congregation Kol Emet synagogue in Morrisville.
His work history includes serving as a legislative analyst.
On issues, he favors increased funding of schools and creating good-paying jobs.
