Documentary Premier: Rydal Park will host this free event at Abington High School, 900 Highland Road in Abington, at 6 p.m. The 5-minute documentary Life Lessons features eight residents of the Rydal Park retirement community. The new choral work Songs for the Young at Heart by the Abington Choral Club features lyrics derived from conversations with those residents. Donations suggested. Orchestral Concert: The Bryn Athyn Orchestra will hold this event at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center, 800 Tomlinson Road in Bryn Athyn, at 3 p.m. The program includes Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, Dvorak’s Romance and Dvorak’s Symphony №7. WWII Reenactment: Graeme Park, 859 County Line Road in Horsham, will hold this event Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reenactors will set up living history displays and camps representing the WWII European theater and stage battles between American and German troops. There will also be a USO-style show including the Ultimate Abbott and Costello Tribute show and other events and demonstrations.
