A Philadelphia man was arrested Tuesday night at Parx Casino in Bensalem for leaving his seven-year-old child unattended in a car for nearly three hours.
Bryan Bolds, 32, of Northeast Philadelphia arrived at the casino around 3:30 p.m. and began playing blackjack. Meanwhile a passerby in the parking lot heard his son crying from the car and yelling for his father, and alerted authorities.
Bensalem police took the child back to police headquarters and later worked with Pennsylvania State Police and Parx Casino security to locate Bolds. The located him at the table he’d been at when he arrived, and arrested him at approximately 6:30.
Bolds was arraigned before District Justice Joseph Falcone that night on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child. He was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $70,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with the child.
